Background & motivation
David Henderson is an associate attorney at Dean Oman Branham. He was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He is a proud Longhorn, having received both his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. David has worked at respected law firms in Houston and Dallas, as well as at the Bexar County District Attorney’s office. His experience at the DA’s office as an SVU attorney and as Chief of the DWI Task Force, where he dealt exclusively with vehicular murder and manslaughter cases, enables David to sincerely understand and respect the emotions associated with cases involving catastrophic injuries and death. David also takes pride in calling himself a trial lawyer with experience trying over 70 jury trials ranging from premises liability cases to capital murder. While at The DA's Office, he joined Toastmasters International to improve his public speaking skills. In 2010, Toastmasters crowned David the World Champion of Public Speaking after rising to the top of 30,000 contestants from 113 different countries. After receiving this award, David was invited to serve as a guest lecturer and instructor for the Texas District & County Attorney’s Association, helping to train other prosecutors throughout the state of Texas. David's trial experience, speaking skills and public service have helped him develop a passion for creating a strong connection with juries and his clients.
